Singing C {Heather Milano – Bucks County Photographer}

In the past I have shared my gratitude for C’s mom. A few years ago, which now seems like an entire life time, she was our twins OT. She came into our home and taught us the skills necessary to get our immobile boys moving and how to build up their strength. I believe it was her knowledge, love for her profession and attachment to my boys that got them where they are today. It once felt unimaginable to envision my boys running and climbing the playground ladders with ease and now I can’t remember what it was like to not have them be so active. I remember them having no defense reflexes and I remember my older twin not being able to walk up the threshold into our front door. She truly was a huge part of their toddlers years being in our house every week working with them. It was bittersweet when our boys no longer needed services, but at least I now have this cute excuse to keep in touch with her!
I have to tell you, C is a spitting image of her mom, as you will see. However, you would have to have spent the morning with her to REALLY understand what a little firecracker she is. During our session, and like previous ones, mom gave us a soundtrack to work with. I am a huge music fan so having some Billy Joel or whoever playing in the background was awesome. This year, C has an Adele infatuation. No way?! Me too! What I wasn’t ready for was this little girl singing word for word every song that came on. Literally. I felt like I should have had a video camera in hand and not my Nikon! In tune and singing the real lyrics, not made up ones, we had our photo shoot. As aforementioned in an earlier post, our winter has been so pleasant so we also did some outdoor ones and the entire time C continued to sing, this time making up her own lyrics and dancing. I couldn’t help but wonder if some day, these very photos I was taking, would be worth hundreds when she becomes a super star. I’ll be able to say, “I knew her when….!”
So readers, remember this face!

And some My Little Pony love…
