About a year or so ago, I met D from a photography forum. We had met up at a seminar and finally had a photo “playdate” (as it was really for US to play, not our daughters). Her photography style is so soft and natural and I always find such graciousness in her images. When D contacted me to do a maternity session, I instantly started sweating. Its one thing to photograph every day people, but a PHOTOGRAPHER? It was a true honor, but I have to admit I was very nervous. If something wasn’t working out, I really couldn’t “fake” it. I had to have my game on! D wanted photos not so much focusing on her pregnancy, but also celebrating the last moments with her daughter before her new sibling arrived. Little G is truly a sweet little thing. She is very quiet and has such a spirit about her. Nerves aside I had a beautiful afternoon shooting with them in one of my favorite areas. I thank D again for giving me this opportunity as it was not only a true confidence booster, but a positive challenge!
